College-Level Coursework
in High School.
Advanced Placement courses give college-bound students the opportunity to take college-level coursework in high school and potentially earn college credit before they ever set foot on a university campus.
AP courses are designed and overseen by the College Board. Students who pass the corresponding AP examination with a score of 3, 4, or 5 may receive college credit. The amount of credit and minimum score required varies by institution.
