Withdrawing or Transferring From BBPA
We hope every student stays through graduation. Sometimes life requires a different path.
Talk to Your Success Coach First
Before initiating a formal withdrawal or transfer, contact your Success Coach. Many situations can be addressed without withdrawing. Your coach can adjust your pacing, build an accommodation plan, or connect you with the right support.
Withdrawal Process
Submit a Request
Submit a Course Withdrawal or Drop Request form through the student portal or by contacting Student Services directly.
Confirmation
Student Services will confirm receipt and initiate the withdrawal review.
Account Review
Your account will be reviewed for any outstanding balances. Transcripts and official records are released only for accounts in good standing.
Transcript Preparation
An official BBPA transcript documenting all completed coursework and earned credits will be prepared and released to you or directly to your receiving institution upon request.
Formal Closure
Your enrollment is formally closed. You will receive written confirmation.
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the point in your enrollment at which withdrawal occurs and is governed by your signed enrollment agreement. Contact our enrollment team as early as possible. Timing affects refund eligibility.
Florida scholarship funds are governed by Step Up For Students policies and are not refunded through BBPA. Students with scholarship funding should contact Step Up For Students directly.
Re-Enrollment
Students who withdraw may apply for re-enrollment at a future date. Credits earned during prior enrollment remain on record and will be evaluated for application toward graduation requirements upon re-enrollment.
